Offers extended safety for serial over Ethernet applications that require isolation on and between ports. Four, eight or 16 galvanically isolated RS-232 serial ports with 10/100 Mbps network interface and Ethernet switch on eight- and 16-port models.
The EtherLite family of serial servers blends the control and performance of asynchronous serial communications with the convenience of an Ethernet connection. Available in two- to 32-port versions, the traffic from all serial ports is serviced by a single TCP/IP session.
Need expandability? The Digi PortServer II provides the high performance and expandability to support up to 64 serial port connections as well as support for LAN-to-LAN connections over Frame Relay.
