The NXF-717 and NXF-711 allow network designers to install workgroups consisting of a number of hubs and switches in several locations without the need for leased lines or expensive terminal equipment. 
The NXF-717 can be mounted in a 19" rack. It is ideal for locations where extra security devices are required, such as schools, universities and hospitals.
The NXF-711 is ideal for discrete locations where space is at a premium.
